This has been a great boot.One of the most comfortable boots I have ever owned. the only reson that Im giviving it a 4 star rating is that the stitching by the toe gave out ater three years so I can't complain. I am a lineman and wear these boots six to eight months out of the year. I wish that they would make this boot in a waterproof model. thanks for a great boot...

I really like this boot but a few things could make it so much better. 1) Get rid of the ankle cushioning, it makes your feet noticeably sweaty on those hot days. Better yet get rid of all the lining and keep it all leather on the inside. 2) Make the tongue go higher up on the upper to help keep dirt/ashes out. Also the tongue is rather thin. 3) Drop the nylon and use all kevlar stitching.

Very Good boots, I have had several pairs of this Hoffman boot. Comfortable and long lasting, a great boot for the price.

These where my first pair of fire boots. I really like them and will continue to use them every fire season.

I bought a pair of these because I’ve experienced Hoffman quality. I’m not a firefighter, but I wanted a comfortable lightweight quality boot at an affordable price. I really would like the 10 inch version with the stitched, glued and screwed soles. I own three pair of Hoffman boots. I love boots and Hoffman quality and ruggedness never disappoints.
