Jim, climbed half the day in the sportiva's and half the day in the Meindl boots. We have a new king of the mountain in my book. The Meindl is more comfortable, lighter, and overall a better boot. I may put the la sportiva's up for sale in class just to get another pair of Meindl. My boss wasn't too interested in the boot display and setup, but with an apprentice discount i guarantee you I will move tons of your product every year. Thanks again for the discount and pushing me to get what is in my mind a better boot. We get stuck in our ways sometimes but hands down the Meindl outperformed the sportiva all day. Wow! Awesome day
