Amazing boots!!!
Purchased these boots back in September and waited to write a review after some time in them. They have been on two separate hunting trips. One to Alberta on a whitetail hunt where they saw both stationary sits and active days also with snow on the ground roughly 6” or so. Temps as low as 10 deg F. I treated them with the Hoffman dressing before the trip and they performed flawlessly!! Extremely comfortable and warm. More breathable than I was expecting and water proof through all the walking in the snow. The second trip was Oklahoma for dry field duck and goose hunting. No snow but temps ranged from 40 to as low as 15 deg F. Again, extremely comfortable, warm, and waterproof. These are the most comfortable boots I have ever had on my feet! They have also been on multiple hunts and treks back home.

Supportive, comfortable and warm-all we ask for
Supportive, comfortable and warm-all we ask for!
They are a bit taller than I prefer, it would be nice if the extra 400 (of the total 800) grams of insulation could be placed around the toe box and keep the height at 8", but that's not how it is. Anyway, in spite of my preference they are really comfortable in the arch and the ankle support is terrific. Also, I walk/hike with them almost every morning and the coldest I have worn them is 6 degrees Fahrenheit while carrying a 35-pound pack and my toes did get cold, but for temps in the 15-20 range while just walking or carrying a pack they are warm. Also, they kept my feet warm seated in a deer blind for 3-hours at 25 Fahrenheit.
I normally wear an 11.5 but I found the 12 fit much better, so I suggest you go up a half size and wide width. The leather, stitching and hardware all appear to be of high quality, and I regularly refer friends to Hoffman to give this boot a try. I would certainly buy this boot again.
